What Personal Information About Customers Does Lib Up Books Collect?

The personal information we collect about you depends on the nature of your dealings with us or what you choose to share with us.

If you are an online marketplace customer, we collect from the marketplace (Amazon, eBay, AbeBooks), the address and contact information necessary to fulfill your order.

Lib Up Books collects data from you in 2 distinct ways:

• You place an online marketplace order with our store and we receive your address and contact information in order to fulfill your order.

Does Lib Up Books Share Your Personal Information?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling our customers' personal information to others

We may disclose your personal information to third parties in accordance with this Policy in circumstances where you would reasonably expect us to disclose your information. For example, we may disclose your personal information to a shipping carrier so that they can deliver your order to your address.

• We only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil your orders, and no longer. Never longer than 30 days.

• We regularly audit and assess our security practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness

Disposing of Your Data

Data is disposed of using the industry-standard sanitization process NIST 800-88.

We will dispose of your data as soon as it is no longer necessary to fulfill the products or services you requested of us. For online marketplace orders, we will always dispose of your data within 30 days of receiving it

You may request your data be deleted sooner than 30 days by sending us an email. Please allow for a response time of 24-48 hours.

What Lib Up Books Will Absolutely NOT Do With Your Data

You can rest assured that your data will never be used in any unauthorized manner. We do not and will not:

• Share and/or sell your data with any third parties not necessary to fulfil your orders

• Disclose information, individually labeled or aggregated, to affiliated entities, or any outside parties not outlined above

Definitions

• "Personally Identifiable Information" (“PII”) means information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate an individual (e.g., Customer or Authorized User), or to identify an individual in context. This includes, but is not limited to, a Customer or Authorized User’s name, address, e-mail address, phone number, gift message content, survey responses, payment details, purchases, cookies, digital fingerprint (e.g., browser, user device), IP Address, geo-location, or Internet-connected device product identifier.

• “Customer” means any person or entity who has purchased items or services from Lib Up Books (either directly, or through an on-line marketplace such as Amazon)

• “Information” means any information that is provided to us directly or through an on-line marketplace such as Amazon. This data can be public or non-public, including Personally Identifiable Information about our customers.
